    Counterfactual Fairness Tool

Would the decision change if only the protected attribute were different?

Asks whether a model decision would change if one protected attribute, and nothing else, were different.

A coin with two faces. Point at it.

    What it does

You import the causal model, set the production decision threshold and enter factual and counterfactual predictions case by case. You get the decision flip rate and a sensitivity verdict tied to the causal paths, which the Intervention Planner reads.

    Why it matters

This step evaluates whether individual outcomes would change under counterfactual variations of protected attributes, given the causal model. It provides evidence of individual-level unfairness and helps localize discrimination to specific causal paths.

Step 3.2, Counterfactual Analysis, in the Intervention phase.
